Reporting Antisemitism

If you are currently experiencing antisemitism in your workplace or have been the victim of an antisemitic incident in your place of employment, we encourage you to report it. Reporting is the best way for officials and organizations to track the prevalence of this behavior and to get you the support you need. And some countries have strict time limits on reporting certain types of discrimination, which means timely reporting  and filing of complaints is crucial.

Reporting Sites

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC)

In the U.S., if you are a victim of antisemitic behavior at the office, always consult this site, which offers comprehensive information on religious discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, as well as a detailed process for filing a report. Note that there are time limits on submitting claims of discrimination under Title VII and you will need to act quickly.

Learn More

ADL

Though the ADL does not handle individual cases of antisemitism, they do offer advice and guidance on reported incidents when they can help. They also document experiences as part of their efforts to compile statistical data on antisemitism.

Report Now

AJC

The AJC publishes a very comprehensive guide to reporting antisemitism through a number of channels. You will find detailed instructions on filing reports of antisemitic discrimination to numerous federal agencies, as well as tips on reporting antisemitic experiences on social media channels.

Get the Guide

Community Security Trust

In the UK, the Community Security Trust (CST) is the chief non-profit organization that works on protecting Jews subjected to antisemitism of all kinds, including in the workplace. Reports can be filed at their website.

File a report

JCAWA

The Jewish Coalition Against Workplace Antisemitism also monitors reports of antisemitic behavior in the workplace. If you are experiencing or have witnessed antisemitism in your place of employment and are not sure how to proceed,  you can contact JCAWA to file a report and ask for guidance.

Contact

Local Law Enforcement

If you have been the victim of any type of criminal act relating to antisemitic bias at work or in any way relating to your employment, we strongly advocate reporting it to the appropriate legal authorities in your area.
